Aerospace Research Program Mentor
Coached several high-achieving undergraduate engineering students through topics relating to aerodynamic efficiency. This included leading design reviews, assisting with computational fluid dynamics, experimental design, and analysis of data gathered from wind tunnel testing.

R&D / Value Engineering Co-op
Utilized engineering methods to improve the value of products through the evaluation of their function. I managed as project lead for 6 R&D projects, producing the following results:

17 technical drawing and bill of material ECNs for review and release

CNC tolerance analysis on multiple product lines, ensuring dimensional accuracy

Monthly product performance testing and resulting report-outs to upper level management

Led associate training sessions to introduce 2 new assembly strategies and accompanying fixtures in coordination with the manufacturing department

Communicated regularly with suppliers and vendors to coordinate material selections and designs for vinyl extrusions and injection molded parts

Performed logistics and inventory management duties including the following:

Scan and load product into semi-trailers by store using handheld RF devices

Transfer bulk products to and from various loading docks and storage rack positions using PIT equipment (obtained certification on Crown PE-4500 pallet truck)
